The ESC comes with a Tamiya plug as standard from the factory—we ship it with the original plug by default. Both the ESC and motor feature a fully waterproof design, allowing long-term submersion in water. However, please note the following 3 maintenance tips after water use:
- Be sure to lubricate the motor bearings immediately with lubricating oil.
- Dry the moisture between the commutator and carbon brushes as soon as possible; do not let them air-dry naturally.
- Also, dry the plugs on the ESC and motor promptly.
